I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1993. In my work with families, couples and individuals, I have found that happiness lies in having rich, caring relationships with people that we love. Developing loving and caring relationships with others requires skill and compassion. My job as a family therapist is to offer insight and awareness to ways to develop these kinds of relationships. To achieve this goal, I have found that my clients demonstrate openmindedness, a courageous spirit and perseverance. I have been blessed throughout the years to work with many people who have taught me what it is to be human. It has always been my desire to give back what I have received.
Psychotherapy, in its true form, is a journey and not a destination. Psychotherapy was developed as a growth and development experience. It is not about pathologizing or diagnosing, but about discovery and awareness of the human condition. In working with clients, I seek for them wholeness and connection in their lives.
